I love to research . I love to learn . I’m a seasoned engineer in the aerospace industry for over 12 years and I’ve done some amazing things and helped create some of the world’s best aircraft. I’ve been very lucky work with the best teammates and peers. I’m a recent graduate of a leadership development program at Boeing highlighting the top 1% of high potential leaders. This has lead to a high degree of skills and abilities that I’ve been able to utilize in remarkable ways. I love all things that beep, blink, buzz, or otherwise have electrons coursing through their framework. I had a Radio Shack Robie Jr. growing up and it was the neatest toy. It sparked my imagination of what was possible, of what I wanted to learn, and see, and do. My best skill is the ability to learn something quickly. Seriously. Fast. I can program websites in HTML, CSS, and Javascript using nothing but notepad. However, I usually do better with an IDE. I have photographs published in travel apps. I created, designed, and ran my own Android fan website that collected over 1 million unique visitors. I’ve had an article written about me in PC Magazine (incorrectly) referring to me directly as a ‘hacker’. I once taught myself enough Python to be dangerous on accident. I’ve since learned enough to control the danger. I have a master’s degree in aerospace engineering, which I earned while working full-time. I was invited to Google to participate in a hack-a-thon and enjoyed every minute. I have a private pilot’s license and can do some wicked awesome clearing turns. I setup my own Apache server with PHP and MySQL in college for fun. This was before it came in nice WAMP packages. Kids these days are lazy. I can crash a radio control airplanes in spectacular fashion. It’s an art. I can drive a manual car, something not many in the U.S. can claim any more. I used to play the flute, tuba, and almost any percussion instrument known to man. Oh, and I could play those instruments while marching in unison with a hundred other people. I have an Android app published in the Google Play Store. I have some of the best vacation planning skills this side of the Mississippi. Ask my wife. I am the best Nertz® player in my family.
